Managed Care Accountability Sets (MCAS) Measure
The following is reminder regarding Contraceptive Care (CCP) – Postpartum Women ages 21-44.
Description:
Women ages 21 to 44 as of December 31st, of the measurement year, who had a live Birth that:
- Were provided the most effective or moderately effective method of contraception within 3 and 60 days of delivery.
- Were provided a long-acting reversible method of contraception (LARC) within 3 and 60 days of delivery.
CCP – Postpartum Women measure is stratified into two groups:
- The Child Core Set measure applies to beneficiaries ages 15 to 20
- The Adult Core Set measure applies to beneficiaries ages 21 to 44.
Please note that women with a live birth after October 31 will be excluded.
