The San Joaquin County Health Commission (SJCHC), currently operating as Health Plan of San Joaquin (HPSJ), is proud to announce that SJCHC will expand its operations to Alpine and El Dorado counties, effective January 1, 2024. SJCHC will do business in those new counties as “Mountain Valley Health Plan” (MVHP) and will continue business in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties as “Health Plan of San Joaquin” (HPSJ).
Please note, while you may see the name “Mountain Valley Health Plan” (MVHP) and associated branding and logos incorporated into materials in the future, the underlying entity behind both HPSJ and MVHP is still SJCHC.
