We are sending this alert because your patients may have filled a prescription for NP Thyroid 30mg, 60mg or 90mg within the last six months (180 days). With FDA knowledge, Acella Pharmaceuticals is voluntarily recalling the following products because testing has found these lots to be superpotent. The product may have up to 115.0% of the labeled amount of Liothyronine (T3).
HPSJ is now contacting HPSJ members who have filled a prescription for NP Thyroid 30mg, 60mg or 90mg within the last six months (180 days). We are recommending they contact their pharmacy to check to see if their medication is part of the recall. This table shows the product subject to recall.
