Effective October 1, 2014, HPSJ members’ covered by Medicare Part B or Medicare Part A & B will not have an HPSJ primary care provider designated.
ID cards issued after October 15th will indicate “Health Plan of San Joaquin” in the PCP section. Existing members with dual coverage in both Medicare and Medi-Cal will not receive an updated card unless a replacement card is requested by calling our Customer Service Department.
Members who are covered by Medicare and Medi-Cal may continue to seek services with their current Medicare provider.
Providers can verify member eligibility by logging in to Doctor’s Referral Express (DRE), our online provider portal.
