Health Plan of San Joaquin has implemented a change in how interest payments will be reflected on current Remittance Advices.
In the past, interest was paid on the same claim in a column to the left of the total payment, titled “Int. Paid.” As of check date 8/26/16, interest payment will be on a new claim number with the remit code stating which claim the interest payment is for.
